The eastern regions of Bali collect a lot of interesting places to see. First to Bona village where high quality of bamboo furnitures are produced, Gianyar - centre of typical Balinese woven cloths home industry, further eastwards is Semarapura, seat of the former Kingdom of Klungkung. Visit the Royal Court of Justice "Kertha Gosa" with its fantastic ceiling paintings. A short visit to the nearby town market can be done. Next stop is Kusamba - a fishing village and place of traditionally salt making , Tenganan - aborigines village which still retain their conservative way of life |
such as its social communal system, all building are identical in design, then on to Karangasem to see former palace of Karangasem Kingdom built in early 20th century. On the way back, pass through Putung, Iseh and Sidemen villages lies in the beautiful sphere with lush and green valley. |
