First you will visit the "Taman Ayun" royal water temple in Mengwi, built in the 16th century. Afterwards, drive upwards to the mountain resort of Bedugul. Visit the lush and green Botanical garden with its beautiful collection of tropical orchids.
Not far from the garden is Lake Beratan where the picturesque Ulun Danu temple located on its bank. Then continue to Alas Kedaton, a forest inhabited by tribes of monkeys before heading |
west to watch a spectacular sunset (weather conditioned) over Tanah Lot, one of Bali famous sea temple built on a rocky outcrop offshore which is only accessible at low tide. Return to your hotel after the sunset. |
